Since 2006, the winery has been monitored by a local office of the Gironde Chamber of Agriculture in connection with an Integrated Agricultural Production initiative in wine growing. The objective is to gain a greater understanding of the estate’s different terroirs, in order to optimise vineyard management, from planting through harvesting (the choice of grape varieties and rootstocks, fertilisation, pest protection, leaf and green fruit removal, etc.).
At the same time, the estate is currently setting up a waste water treatment system to minimise its impact on the environment. These initiatives are indicative of our desire to combine protecting the environment with producing a quality product and running a profitable operation.
